The ministers affected are Ruqayat Rufai (Education); Zainab Kunchi (Power, [state]); Buka Tijani (Agriculture [state]), Shamsudeen Usman (National Planning; Ita Okon (science and technology);  Olugbenga Ashiru (foreign affairs); Ama Pepple (lands) and Hadiza Mailafia (environment).
President Jonathan had long been expected to rejig his lackluster cabinet which has largely failed to deliver services to the Nigerian people.

BBA: "I Marry Elikem As Soon As He Pays My Bride Price" - Pokello (WATCH)

Zimbabwean representative in this year's Big Brother Africa (The Chase) reality show, Pokello Nare arrived in Ghana Tuesday for a two-week visit.

The sexy Zimbabwean arrived in Ghana with her new found love, Elikem Kumordzi, who also represented Ghana in the reality show, to a rapturous reception from hundreds of fans who had gathered at the Kotoka International Airport.

Her trip to the country is to reciprocate Elikem's trip to Zimbabwe last week.

The Ghanaian tailor during his stay in Zimbabwe visited Pokello's parents, attended three parties, made some donations to the Thembiso Children’s Home in Luveve and also met with his fans in Zimbabwe.

An elated Pokello told Airtel Entertainment News on Joy FM in her first interview since touching down in Ghana that she had a pleasant flight to Ghana.

According to her, she is looking forward to "Elikem's welcome party on Friday at Aphrodisiac Nite Club," where she "will be making an appearance," and will also be "meeting all my fans in Ghana."

Asked about Elikem's visit to her country last week, Pokello said, "It was crazy in Zimbabwe. When he came out of the airport, there were thousands of fans waiting for him. Everyone had a tape measure on. We had three welcome parties for him and it was great fan."

Touching on their relationship, Pokello said she is ready to marry Elikem "as soon as he pays my bride price," and that the bride price only costs "a few thousands."

Apart from the Aphrodisiac Nite Club, similar events have been scheduled to take place in Kumasi and Takoradi.

Pastor In "SOUP" As Boy Dies DURING SPIRITUAL BATH

A 25-year-old pastor, Samson Bamgbose, was, yesterday, arraigned before an Abeokuta Chief Magistrate Court, Isabo, Ogun State for allegedly causing the death of a church member, who drowned during a spiritual bath.

Bamgbose, a pastor at the Celestial Church of Christ, Alaapa, is facing a one-count charge of negligence.

The police prosecutor, Mr Paul Etusi, told the court that the offence was committed on August 15 at 3p.m. in Ogun River, Alaapa village, Abeokuta.


He said the accused took some church members, including the deceased, Toheeb Odusanya,13, to the river for spiritual bath.

“Bamgbose took the little boy to the river without his parent’s consent. He did not take the necessary precaution, and allowed the boy to drown,” the prosecutor said.

Etusi said the offence contravened section 344 of the Criminal Code of Ogun, 2006.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty.

The magistrate, Mr Anthony Araba, granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till October 2

ollywood location manager allegedly killed by CHINESE SLIMMING TEA!!

Asaba based Nollywood location manager Chinedu Epeagba (pictured above) died last week after a brief illness. Chinedu may have died from drinking too much Chinese slimming tea, if that possible.

According to Nollywood comic actor, Ugezu J. Ugezu, who posted on his Facebook page, a doctor who treated Chinedu said his death was as a result of complications triggered by slimming tea

 Ugezu said.. 

“Our preliminary investigation, backed with scientific presentations from the last doctor that treated him in Onitsha, shows that Dabebe died from complications triggered by the made in China slimming tea, which he started drinking in July. This tea, medicine or whatever, gradually destroyed all his internal organs and by the time he became too weak and got rushed to the hospital, his body couldn’t respond to treatment; organs were ruined already. The sad news is that Dabebe, that promising young man, is dead
